Lava fields, geothermal sites, dramatic coastline and active volcanic environment

The Reykjanes peninsula is probably the closest you can get to the moon.
The main attraction of this short yet intense tour is the smoky peninsula varied landscape itself: lava fields, geothermal sites, dramatic coastline and active volcanic environment.
We will stop at two colourful geothermal areas: Krýsuvík and Gunnuhver, with hissing and bubbling hot springs all around. After visiting the fascinating fishing village of Grindavík, we will drive by the spectacular ocean cliffs at Reykjanestá and take in the magnificent coastline by the Reykjanesviti lighthouse. Before driving back through endless moss fields we will walk the famous bridge between the continents, a symbolic bridge connecting Europe and North America.
Option to be dropped off at the Blue Lagoon around 16:00 for those who have pre-booked the admission, best way to relax after a great day of adventure.
