Best tour to find out why they call this “The Land of Fire and Ice”

If sightseeing is not quite enough for you, just make your tour a bit more adventurous with a glacier walk on Sólheimajökull.
We will pay a visit to the sumptuous waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss on the way to the glacier, then we’ll put our crampons on and go for a 2-3 hour hike on the ice. From there we’ll have the best view over the most famous of Icelandic volcanoes: Eyjafjallajökull.
The glacier tongue of Sólheimajökull is one of the most accessible glaciers of the island, part of the fourth largest glacier in Iceland called Mýrdalsjökull. You will be provided with all the professional gear for the hike, just remember to dress warmly.
