01Is it necessary to reserve online?
Online booking is not strictly necessary but surely a good and safe idea.
Iceland is getting quite popular and a few tours are often sold-out. Pre-booking allows you to plan your trip in advance and have your seat guaranteed, avoiding any time waste once in Iceland.
02Can I change the date of my trip?
Any change to the booking has to be approved by the tour operator and it’s of course subjected to availability. Just get in touch with us and we’ll do our best to help you – we surely understand that your travel plan might undergo modifications.
03What’s your cancellation/refund policy?
In order to get a full refund, all cancellations - whichever the reason - have to be notified at least 24 hours prior to departure. Unfortunately, cancellations made on a shorter notice will be charged full price.
04Can I only pay with credit card?
At the moment our website only allows credit card payments.
If you don't have a credit card and wish to use a debit card instead, you can easily send a request to email@example.com
and our agents will be able to take the payment over the phone or via email.
05Do I need to print out my ticket/voucher?
Yes, you do need to print out your ticket/voucher and bring it with you on the day of the tour.
If you left it home or were not able to print it, just come to our office at Laugavegur 54 at least the day before your tour and we’ll take care of it.
06Where can I be picked-up if I’m staying outside Reykjavík?
Most companies only operate pick-up from hotels and guesthouses in Reykjavík, unless differently indicated in the pick-up list.
If you are staying near Reykjavík you can easily get a public bus to Hlemmur station, which is only three minutes away from our office, and be picked-up from Trip.
We suggest you to do the same if your accommodation is not on the list, or you can also locate a hotel close by and select pick-up from there.
07Is there any discount for families?
Different operators have different pricing policies, but they certainly all are family-friendly.
All companies offer free or discounted tickets to children and teenagers, you’ll find all info in the booking page for each tour.
08What should I wear?
Icelandic weather is ever-changing, so we always recommend to dress in layers.
Comfortable sturdy shoes and warm clothing should be worn when travelling in Iceland during any season, hat and gloves are never a bad idea either.
09Can I take my luggage with me?
Most buses have a luggage compartment. If you have checked out from your hotel and are heading straight to the airport after your tour, you will be allowed to take your suitcase with you or have it stored.
It’s necessary to inform us or directly the tour operator in advance though.
10Can I write to you in my language?
In case you are not confident enough with English, here at Trip we do speak quite a few other languages.
If your language is Swedish, Danish, Dutch, German, Hungarian, French, Spanish, Italian, Hebrew, Russian or Polish, feel free to communicate with us in your mother tongue and the right agent will get back to you asap – compatibly with his/her shift.
